Financing Options
CareCredit is a healthcare credit card designed for your health and wellness needs for you and your entire family. You can use it as needed to manage your health, wellness and beauty costs not covered by insurance. It helps you pay for out-of-pocket healthcare expenses.
CareCredit is different from a regular credit card with special financing options that you may not be able to get with other cards.
Once you've applied, you can use it as many times as you need. With shorter term financing options of 6, 12, 18 or 24 months, no interest is charged on purchases of $200 or more when you make the minimum monthly payments and pay the full amount due by the end of the promotional period. If you do not, interest is charged from the original purchase date. CareCredit can also extend longer term healthcare financing for up to 60-month periods.
1. Apply
You apply online (often through a link provided directly by your doctor or spa) in about 30 to 60 seconds.
Cherry performs a soft credit check, which does not impact your credit score.
Cherry approves up to 90% of applicants and offers financing up to $65,000.
2. Choose Your Plan
Once approved, your specific approval limit is visible instantly. [1]
You can select from short-term plans (like interest-free "Pay in 4") or longer monthly payment plans that span anywhere from 3 to 60 months.
Well-qualified applicants can access true 0% APR options. For plans that do bear interest, the APR generally ranges from 9.99% to 35.99% with no hidden fees.
3. Make a Down Payment
A down payment is typically required at checkout, which is based on your total purchase price and the plan you choose.
The first monthly payment is usually made on the day of checkout, with the remaining balance set up on an automated schedule.
4. Manage Payments
You get access to a customer portal to easily manage your account, track upcoming payments, and handle automatic drafts via debit or credit card.
There are no penalties for paying your balance off early.
