Wisdom & Youth MedSpa Aesthetic Shadowship

A curated clinical shadow and mentorship experience for RNs, PAs, and MDs seeking real-world exposure to medical aesthetics in a high-end MedSpa setting.

This program is designed to provide insight into clinical decision-making, patient flow, injectables, and advanced aesthetic treatments, with an optional hands-on mentorship component for qualified providers.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Active professional licensure OR proof of enrollment in an accredited RN or PA program

    • If currently enrolled in school, NOT eligible for immersion track 

  • Introductory injector course not required for Insight Track only 

    • For Immersion Track, must have initial injector training course completed

  • All participants must practice within their state of licensure

  • All participants must have their own personal medical malpractice insurance (ex..HPSO, NSO)

Availability at both Westport and Shelton locations.

Insight Track

Best for:

Providers exploring aesthetics or seeking foundational exposure before formal training.

What’s Included:

  • 30-minute pre-clinic Q&A

  • Overview of the day

  • Open forum for questions

  • Insight into treatment planning and injector workflow

  • Full-day clinical shadowing (approx. 6 hours)

Observe a variety of real patient appointments including:

  • Neuromodulator treatments

  • Dermal fillers

  • Biostimulators

  • Laser treatments

  • Chemical peels

  • Learn consultation flow, patient education, and treatment rationale

  • Exposure to charting, consent, and clinical documentation standards

  • 30-minute end-of-day wrap-up Q&A

  • Case review

  • Career guidance and next steps

  • Letter of Reference verifying completion of the Wisdom & Youth Shadowship Experience

Investment:

RN: $600 (full day)

PA: $1200 (full day)

Immersion Track

Best for:

Licensed providers ready to deepen their clinical confidence with supervised, hands-on exposure.

What’s Included:

  • 1-hour in-depth Q&A and technique overview

  • Facial assessment principles

  • Injection strategy and product selection

  • Safety, anatomy, and complication prevention

  • Full-day clinical shadowing

  • Observe live patient treatments across multiple modalities

  • 2-hour hands-on model session

  • Model consultations

  • 2-3 areas of neurotoxin included for one model 

  • 1 syringe of hyaluronic acid filler for one model 

    • Student is allowed to bring in more than one model, however other models must pay for treatments (at discounted rate) OR student can pay differential

  • Facial mapping and treatment planning

  • Opportunity to inject models under direct supervision

  • Letter of Reference confirms completion of shadowship and exposure to injection techniques and supervised demonstrations

Real-time feedback on:

  • Technique

  • Depth

  • Product handling and placement 

  • Aesthetic judgment & assessment 

Investment:

$2,850

Hands-on components are dependent on licensure, experience level, and state regulations. All injections are performed under supervision.
