    2. Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least two weeks before the treatment. Sunburned or tanned skin can result in unwanted side effects such as hyperpigmentation, blistering, and scarring.

    3. Avoid skin irritants: Avoid the use of skin irritants such as retinol, alpha-hydroxy acids, and other topical products that can cause skin sensitivity or irritation for at least two weeks before the treatment.

    4. Shave: Shave the treatment area one day before your appointment. Avoid waxing, plucking, or using depilatory creams.

    5. Remove all makeup, moisturizers and lotions from the treatment area before the session.

    6. Wear comfortable clothing: as tight or restrictive clothing can irritate the skin after the treatment.

    7. Medications: Inform your practitioner of any medications you may be taking.
